Page Blackout Interval
The Page Blackout Interval determines the minimum number of minutes between pages. It provides
a way to prevent back-to-back pages if a rapid series of events occurs. This parameter is entered in
minutes; a value of 0 indicates no blackout.
Enter a value between 0 and 255.
Call Retry Interval
This setting gives the number of seconds between call retries when a busy signal is detected.
Enter a value between 0 and 255.
Edit Page Destination
When you select a Dial String on the Page Destination Conguration screen and then click Edit, you
are shown the Edit Page Destination screen. On this screen, you congure or modify the settings
for the selected page destination.

After completing this screen, click OK to return to the Page Destination Conguration screen.
Dial String
This drop-down list shows all destination dial strings. The string selected before you clicked Edit on
the Page Destination Conguration screen is displayed.
Flow Control
This drop-down congures the data ow control. Available choices are No Flow Control, CTS/RTS
(hardware handshake), and XON/XOFF.
Baud Rate
This drop-down determines the maximum rate in bits per second at which the data can be transmitted
through the serial port. Available baud rates are 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200 bps.
Stop Bits
This drop-down determines the number of stop bits to use when transmitting page data. The choices
are 1 or 2 stop bits.
